The Power of Knowledge
The world has been working in a weird way these past few years. Because the thing that defines the level of a person is the amount of money he has. Think about it, isn’t it weird that how many pieces of paper a person has is telling everyone what a person’s status is? Now I know money is important but that doesn’t mean we define a person by how much money he has. We are forgetting the thing that got us here in the first place. Now what is that thing you may ask? That thing is called knowledge.
Think about it, what is the thing that has led to all these developments? Isn’t it knowledge? And how do you make money? A person that doesn’t know anything can’t make any money. You need knowledge to make money in the first place. Without knowledge, making money is impossible. Why try to gain money? How have we survived up until now? We would be wiped out if we hadn’t learned how to make fire. Without knowledge the entire human race could not have existed. Money is something completely useless if you don’t have any knowledge. Another thing everyone tries to do is become the most powerful. They think having money will help them get that power. I believe that that is not the case. The person with the most knowledge is most powerful. Countries believe having the best weapons will make them powerful. But even the invention of weapons started from knowledge. And you also need to know how to use the weapon. The core of everything around us has started from one single thing and that is knowledge. Humans always overlook the important things. Their thirst for power makes them forget their origins. Knowledge is more precious than any gem in the world. Looking at power, doesn’t a lion have more power than any human? It should be on top right because it has physical strength that no human can dream of possessing. It may be physically stronger than us but we have something that they don’t and that is the power of knowledge. The thing that has led to, well everything is knowledge. We came such a long way thanks to knowledge. From caveman times to this. If we keep pursuing the path of knowledge then one can only dream of what we will be capable of doing. You can basically think of knowledge as a hidden power in humans. We are basically surrounded with knowledge.
If you don’t pursue knowledge that you are only hurting yourself. Money will not get you anywhere so we should leave this way of thinking. There is a saying:
“Knowledge is the root of all good whereas ignorance is the root of all evil’’
