Can We Replace Teachers With Artificial Intelligence
There has been a major increase in technological advancements over the past few years. We have lots of ways to learn things online like we have made virtual reality classrooms, online courses and youtube videos. Artificial intelligence is also getting smarter and in the future they could become smarter than humans they could replace our teachers in school.
Knowledge wise artificial intelligence will be much better than a teacher. You could ask a teacher a question and if he doesn’t know the answer he will search it online, which means artificial intelligence is smarter. It can give you the answer in an instant while a teacher may or may not know the answer. It will make it easier and quicker for students to learn. Technology is also something students use everyday, it is easier using something you are more familiar with. With virtual reality we can also take students back in time to shakespear’s plays or go to the top of Mount Everest.
Technology can do all those things but students will have no human interaction.Only a teacher can provide this. They also help students in any way they can and will keep on repeating the topic until everyone has understood.They also keep note of what everybody is doing in class. They support the students and will motivate them to reach their dreams. A teacher will see who is doing well in class and who is not and will teach according to that. Teachers also teach students self-confidence, valuable life lessons and many useful skills they will need. They also act as role-models and lead us in the right direction.
In conclusion I would say teachers and artificial intelligence have their own advantages and disadvantages. I think we should have teachers teaching us with the help of artificial intelligence. In this way students will be receiving human interaction and will also learn in the easiest and most efficient way. It also helps the teacher teach in the best way he/she can.
